The higher your current electricity bill the faster your ROI (return on investment) on the installation of a hybrid solar system will be.  Households averaging around $2,500 - $3,000 per year on electricity bills will be able to achieve returns closer to 7-8 years.

NOTES  

The estimated returns above for each region are as accurate as possible using NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) region specific weather stations and datasets, 15% system losses along with minimal shading effects.

These calculations are inline with real site data that we constantly monitor from customers addresses around the country running DCS PV series batteries.           

It’s imperative that households that fall into the “typical four-person household” daily consumption window, understand that you will not achieve a ROI on lithium batteries that use the NMC cell chemistry.  The only way to achieve these returns is by installing DCS PV series batteries using our proprietary LFP cell chemistry.  Which has at least double the lifespan of battery packs running NMC lithium cells. 

It still does make economic sense to install a quality DCS hybrid system even for the households that fall within the “typical four-person household” daily consumption window. 

However the ideal households for this type of technology are those that spend upwards of $2500 a year on their power bills.
