How does it work?

After switching the Skylla TG on with the on/off switch the “on” led will flash for about 2 seconds. In these first 2 seconds it reads all input signals and calculates the necessary output voltage. After 2 seconds it will switch on and the “on” led illuminates.

According to the condition of the battery it will start in the boost charge mode or at float-charge mode. If the battery is not full the “boost” led illuminates and it will start boost-charging. A dip switch can be used to set the charger so that it will always start charging in the boost mode, irrespective of the condition.

When the battery voltage has reached the boost voltage it will change into the equalize-charge mode and the “equalize” led illuminates. This mode will last for a pre-selectable time of 4, 8 or 12 hours. After this time it will enter the float-charge mode and the “float” led will illuminate.

After the charging is completed the Skylla TG does not have to be switched off and the batteries can stay connected to the charger.
